Thank You story county!

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024 voters supported the Story County Water and Land Legacy Bond (SCWLL) in historic fashion passing the measure by 78%. By voting yes, residents supported a $25 million bond initiative dedicated to enhancing water quality and habitat, enhancing river and stream buffers and improving parks and trails.

History

With the new bond, Story County Conservation has pledged to spend the following: 

​

  • Parks 36% $9,000,000 

  • Water and Habitat 32% $8,000,000 

  • Trails/Outdoor Recreation 32% $8,000,000 

  • TOTAL: 100% $25,000,000
